This kind of building is called “peristerionas” by locals, Greek word for the house of love pigeons! Decades ago pigeons used to stay in this type of buildings, making nests at the outside wall surface in order to mate and stay partners for life. Downstairs you will find a cozy, sunny and sea-view living room equipped with a flat screen TV , reading corner and a comfortable three-seat sofa bed. On the same floor you can find the bathroom - built with a traditional/functional style- with a shower cabin and also a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need if you feel like cooking. Coming upstairs you will find the master bedroom. A double iron hand-crafted bed with a 7-zone-support anatomic mattress is carefully selected to give you the dreamiest sleep. Don’t forget to enjoy the outdoor spaces, all providing incredible view and comfortable relaxing moments!
About the house’s name: Thymari is the greek word for thyme.
With its intense smell and a high value for human health, thymari can be found all over the area of Kalamaki. When you find it, you should definitely taste it!
